Glenbrook South and Bellarmine Earn TOC Bids at the Hilltopper Classic
September 23, 2007 – 12:39 am by: Bill BattermanAfter a grueling two days of intense competition, two teams remained standing in Varsity Policy at the Hilltopper Classic. In the semifinals, Georgi Dimitrov and Carl Rice of Bellarmine College Prep (”Panda” for the Hilltopper Classic) defeated Lee Reed III and John Trevino of Walter Payton College Prep while David Han and Mara Koulogeorge of Glenbrook South prevailed over Maine East’s Beth Kloser and Kathy Ku. The two teams agreed to hold the final round at a later date, most likely at the University of California-Berkeley tournament.
Complete results will be posted soon. In the meantime, the packet in Varsity, JV, and Novice Policy Debate is available online.

I took some pictures with that statue in the library. I don’t think anyone will want those.

I took probably a total of 10 pictures; one of every debate I judged and then a few extraneous ones during the tournament. I’ll have them posted sometime soon.
