After five preliminary rounds, the top four teams in Varsity Policy debate advanced to the semifinal round.

Preliminary Rounds:

1. Marquette BF (Joe Balistreri & Garrett Fields) - 5-0
2. Sheboygan North KM (Tim Knoedler & Laurel Mills) - 4-1, 170 high-low
3. Marquette BG (Ben Benson & David Gebhardt) - 3-2, 168 high-low
4. Brookfield Central JM (Rauvin Johl & Val McIntosh) - 3-2, 159.5 high-low

Top Individual Speakers:

1. Laurel Mills (Sheboygan North KM) - 86
2. David Gebhardt (Marquette BG) - 85, 141.5
3. Garrett Fields (Marquette BF) - 85, 141
4. Tim Knoedler (Sheboygan North KM) - 84

Semifinals:

01. Marquette BF concedes to 04. Brookfield Central JM
02. Sheboygan North KM d. 03. Marquette BG (Henning, Priem, Martner)

Consolation Round:

Brookfield Central JM d. Mankato West GK (Schultz, Jackson, Trilling)

  5. In semifinals, Sheboygan North KM defeated Marquette BG on a 3-0 decision, which created the final round of Sheboygan North KM v. Brookfield Central JM. North was locked negative, and won the round on a 3-0 decision (Batterman, Schultz, Jackson).
