Brookfield East LD and PF Debate Results

Brookfield East High School hosted the “Never Say Never Again” Invitational on Saturday, October 4th. Squads from as far away as Madison and the Fox Valley joined those from the Metro-Milwaukee region for competition in seven divisions of debate. Complete results in Lincoln-Douglas and Public Forum debate are available below the fold.

Lincoln-Douglas Debate:

There were seventeen debaters from eight schools in the Lincoln-Douglas division. After four preliminary rounds, the tournament cleared to semifinals with the top eight debaters (the equivalent of quarterfinalists) receiving a bid to the Wisconsin State Debate Tournament.

Public Forum Debate:

There were 28 teams from ten schools in the Public Forum division. After four preliminary rounds, the tournament cleared to quarterfinals with all eight teams receiving a bid to the Wisconsin State Debate Tournament.
