Brookfield East Policy Debate Results

Brookfield East High School hosted the “Never Say Never Again” Invitational on Saturday, October 4th. Squads from as far away as Madison and the Fox Valley joined those from the Metro-Milwaukee region for competition in seven divisions of debate. Complete results in each division of policy debate are available below the fold.

Varsity (Two Person) Policy:

There were ten teams from seven schools in the Varsity (Two Person) Policy division. After four preliminary rounds, the tournament cleared to finals with the top four teams (the equivalent of semifinalists) receiving a bid to the Wisconsin State Debate Tournament. In the final round, Nicolet conceded to Neenah.

There were six teams from four schools in the Novice (Two Person) Policy division. After four preliminary rounds, the top three teams were tied with a 3-1 record and all received bids to the Wisconsin State Debate Tournament.

There were seven teams from five schools in the Open (Four Person) Policy division. After three rounds, two teams were tied with a 5-1 record and both received a bid to the Wisconsin State Debate Tournament.
