Live From New York, It’s WFD: Covering Catholic Nationals
May 20, 2009 – 10:57 pm by: Bill BattermanWisconsin Forensics Daily will be on-hand to provide coverage of this weekend’s National Catholic Forensic League Grand Nationals in Albany, New York. Sheboygan North’s Jon Voss, Marquette’s Bill Batterman, and the National Forensic League’s Adam Jacobi (along with many others) will be in New York to share news and notes about Wisconsin competitors with their friends and families back home. If you are a Twitter fan, search for the hashtag #ncfl to read updates from those tweating before, during, and after the tournament. Please use this thread to discuss the tournament, share results, or wish good luck! We’ll get things started: who’s attending? In what events? Good luck, Wisconsin.

We did not receive ballots nor a results packet and the latter is not online. There is nothing more frustrating than leaving a tournament having no idea how many debates you’ve won (in the case of Paras and Sam) nor of *why* you’ve won and lost them (in the case of both teams). Would it really be that difficult to post the results sheet after awards? I could do it in approximately thirty seconds if someone sent me the source document. Sigh.
If anyone did get a results packet and wouldn’t mind letting me know the records of Marquette’s two teams in prelims and BM’s ballot counts in elims, I would appreciate it.
Thanks,
~Bill
