  7. A question on the removal of restrictions.

The rule says “Until a date determined by the Executive Committee, arguments in the novice division are restricted to those contained in the official novice evidence packet. Following that date, packet restrictions are removed but affirmatives remain limited to the plan texts specified in the novice evidence packet.”

    I want to be clear.

That means the neg and aff can now create new DAs, new Advatages, really anything new. But the plan text must remain the same?

  8. Ken,

Yes. All restrictions are off EXCEPT the plan text, which must remain unchanged.

  9. Well, no CP and no K rules are still in effect, just to be clear.
