2010 Omaha NCFL
June 1, 2010 – 9:25 pm by: shawn.matsonA great weekend was had for all at the efficiently run National Catholic Forensic League Grand National Tournament over Memorial Day weekend in beautiful Omaha, with several Wisconsin teams returning home with inspirations for next year and much success.
Below is a running list of individual results, gathered together from what I know. Feel free to leave additions or corrections in the comments.

Special congrats are in order to the kids at Bradley Tech and their coach Ernest Chomicki who saw their first student break to elimination rounds at nationals – an exciting and historic event in the life of a forensic program. Congratulations to Bradley Tech, and to everyone who represented our state with class this weekend!

Wow, Shawn, Thanks for the congrats. It truly was an excellent finish to the season for us. Congrats to the Brookfireld East team as well as everyone who made it to Nationals. It’s always an honor to qualify.

Actually the results for Appleton East were – DP – Clarie Zhuang – Octofinalist, Duo Jenna Huebner & David Mullins were in Quarters

Sheboygan South also had students who broke into Sunday competition. Kris Harmelink was an octofinalist in Dramatic Performance, and Maria Giannopoulos was a semifinalist in Student Congress.
